UK Terminology - Head
Round 1: Magic Ring 6 dc (6sts)
Round 2: 2 dc in each st (12sts)
Round 3: (2 dc in first st, 1 dc in next st) rpt to end of round (18 sts)
Round 4: (2 dc in first st, 1 dc in next 2 sts) rpt to end (24 sts)
Rounds 5 - 12: 1 dc in each stitch (24 sts)
Tail
Chain 13 then dc into 2nd from hook making sure it does not twist,
continue to end of row (12sts)
I find crocheting
into the top of the chain helps with this.
Ears (make 2)
Line 1: Chain 7 then dc into 2nd chain from the hook (6 sts)
Line 2: Turn chain 1, dc across ( 6 sts)
Line 3: Turn chain 1, dc across (6 sts)
Line 4: Turn chain 1, dc 2tog, then dc into next 2 sts, then dc 2tog (4 sts)
Line 5: Turn chain 1, dc 2tog, then dc, then dc 2tog (2 sts)
