 UK Terminology - Head
Round 1: Magic Ring 6 dc (6sts)
Round 2: 2 dc in each st (12sts)
Round 3: (2 dc in first st, 1 dc in next st) rpt to end of round (18 sts)
Round 4: (2 dc in first st, 1 dc in next 2 sts) rpt to end (24 sts)
Rounds 5-13: 1 dc in each st (24 sts) Round 14: Attach 8 stitch markers evenly around the bottom edge of hat dc to sts before 1st marker (remove marker and slip st into st chain 12 and dc back down to st and slip st into same st) rpt 7 more times dc to end if necessary (depending on placement of markers) and bind off
