Antennae These are made once the head has been sewn up. I used the long end that I finished off the head with to create a double twisted cord. Keep the yarn full length and taut, twist the end until the yarn is tightly twisted and kinks when the tension is relaxed. Fold yarn in half keeping it taut to avoid tangling, at this stage you want a twisted cord about 3" long. Let the remaing wool un-twist and sew it into the head and into postion for the second antenna. Return to the antenna you have started work on. Repeat this process, twisting and doubling the cord up once again to make an antenna 3/4" long. Sew in the end to hold it in place. Repeat with second antenna. |
